Oakes Estates, Logan Woods and Livingston Woods can all belong on a Naples acreage-home shortlist, but they do not put you in the same place. Oakes Estates is north of Vanderbilt Beach Road, east of I-75; Logan Woods is south of Vanderbilt Beach Road along Logan Boulevard; Livingston Woods is off Livingston Road between Vanderbilt Beach and Pine Ridge roads. Start with those corridors, then compare individual homes—not a promise that every property in a neighborhood works the same way.

Three areas, three starting points for your search
| Area | Location anchor | Useful touring question |
|---|---|---|
| Oakes Estates | Between the Immokalee Road and Vanderbilt Beach Road corridors, east of I-75 | Which entrance and route would you use for your regular North Naples destinations? |
| Logan Woods | Logan Boulevard, south of Vanderbilt Beach Road | How does this particular street connect to the east-west road you use most? |
| Livingston Woods | Livingston Road between Pine Ridge and Vanderbilt Beach roads | Does the Livingston Road corridor suit your daily trips better than a home farther east? |
Oakes Estates: test the north-Naples connections
Oakes Estates includes streets such as Oakes Boulevard, Bur Oaks Lane and Standing Oaks Lane. The meaningful first comparison is the driveway-to-destination route. If most of your errands begin along Immokalee Road, that is a different starting point from a routine organized around Pine Ridge Road.
For a first tour, choose a home that meets your basic size and condition requirements, then drive to one destination you visit several times a week. Repeat the exercise from the other two areas at a comparable time. A neighborhood description cannot tell you whether the turns, intersections and approach to one house suit your routine.
Logan Woods: look at the street, not only the boulevard
Logan Woods lies south of Vanderbilt Beach Road off Logan Boulevard. Its residential streets and individual approaches deserve attention alongside the home’s interior. Two listings may share the Logan Woods label while presenting a different driveway, setback, neighboring outlook or connection to the main road.
During a showing, stand where you would actually spend time outdoors. Compare the view from the lanai, distance to neighboring improvements and the relationship between the house and the rest of the lot. Acreage on a listing sheet does not describe how the outdoor space feels from the rooms you will use.
Livingston Woods: compare the Livingston Road location
Livingston Woods gives buyers a different corridor to evaluate: Livingston Road between Pine Ridge and Vanderbilt Beach roads. That is the location distinction to test, rather than assuming that every estate-home neighborhood is interchangeable.
For buyers comparing a home here with one along Logan Boulevard, the useful question is which actual address fits their regular destinations. Avoid assigning a fixed drive time to either neighborhood; departure time, exact street and destination can change the comparison.
Compare the property after narrowing the location
Once two locations work, compare the homes at the same level of detail. Put the existing house, driveway, cleared outdoor space and additional structures side by side. A larger parcel is not automatically a better fit if your priority is a manageable outdoor area. A smaller home may not be simpler to own if the grounds and extra improvements require more upkeep.
If a workshop, guest space, pool or room for equipment is central to your plans, identify that requirement before choosing a favorite. Existing buildings and open land are not assurances that a proposed use is allowed. Ask the appropriate building, zoning and other professionals about the specific parcel before relying on future changes.
A practical first tour
Bring Frank your regular destinations, preferred home layout and the outdoor use you care about most. Tour a small number of suitable properties across the three corridors, then narrow by the addresses that work—not by whichever neighborhood description sounds most appealing.
